...ABOUT...
Hey,
I’m Slawek Semeniuk — a bassist from Poland who’s been lucky enough to spend the last sixteen years making a living doing what I love: playing music, touring, recording, and connecting with
people through sound.
I’ve played on over thirty albums and toured all over with some killer blues-rock artists like Krissy Matthews, Rob Tognoni, and Wolf Mail. I’ve also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with
some amazing musicians — folks like Clem Clempson, Nicolas Meier, Jason Barwick, Pablo van de Poel, Zac Schulze, Will Wilde, Kim Jennett, and Heidi Solheim.
I spent a long time learning from Adrian Maruszczyk (if you know basses, you know!), and I’m still involved with the Public Peace company as both a live and studio player.
After a solid stretch living and working in Germany, I’m now back in Poland. These days, I’m not only playing but also diving deeper into the world of bookings and live events. I recently joined Funkgurus Artists Management where I get to help other artists hit the stage too — something I’m really enjoying.
Outside of all that, I like messing around with my own music — a mix of jazz, Slavic folk, and prog influences. I’m always chasing sounds that feel honest and a little unexpected
Open to any collaboration, both live and in a studio environment.
I have managed to release two self-titled albums, few more with different angles and look forward to new releases.
